2022 Sponsorship Proposal for Heroes' Alliance Vehicle Technology Team

Based on the national agenda for STEM education as a priority for American youth and a foundational component of every child’s educational experience, Heroes’ Alliance has created a platform to engage students, especially underrepresented minorities in Southeastern Michigan, in STEM education through after-school enrichment. Through acquired knowledge and skills, we can create processes and products that resolve conflict and solve problems. The earlier we expose our youth to this level of engineering, the greater the chance we have of once again leading the world in innovation and manufacturing.

To this end, the Heroes’ Alliance Vehicle Technology Team will be participating in the 2022 Solar Car Competition from July 13-23. High school students from Detroit are designing, building, and testing an electric-solar vehicle that they will race in a national competition in Fort Worth, TX at the Texas Motor Speedway.
